Collection: Bérard France
In 1892 Marius Bérard, a wood lover, created an object factory in the Drôme. He settled in Saint Laurent en Royans, where the water from the river was used to supply energy to the machines.
In an ecological approach, Bérard has developed various workshops around the Mediterranean basin where the most important manual operations are carried out: in Italy, France, Spain, Albania or Tunisia. Craftsmen work as close as possible to the trees in order to optimize transport. The olive trees are meticulously selected to guarantee the stability of the wood over time.
The products are mainly made in the branches of the tree after the natural maintenance cut.
