Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn, unused, with tags attached, and returned in their original packaging - including any boxes or branded product packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
To initiate a return, contact us at info@chefandaknife.com before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not provide return shipping labels or cover return postage costs.
Birkenstock Returns
Chef & a Knife stocks Regular fit Birkenstock styles only. We strongly recommend checking the Birkenstock Sizing Guide before placing your order, as sizing can vary between styles.
We accept returns on unworn Birkenstock footwear within 30 days of delivery. A flat $15 restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Packaging requirements: The shoe box is considered part of the product. Please pack your return carefully - avoid over-taping the box and always return it inside a protective satchel or outer bag. Damage to the shoe box during return shipping is not considered a product fault and may affect your refund eligibility.
Faulty or Damaged Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@chefandaknife.com with photos so we can assess the issue and make it right. Where a return is approved due to a confirmed fault or defect, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- Sale items
- Gift cards
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. To get a different size or style, return your original item and place a new order once your return is approved.
European Union - 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
