German Steel. Rustic Soul.
The Crafter Paring Knife's slim, tapered blade narrows to a fine point - ideal for peeling garlic cloves, trimming herbs, segmenting citrus, and all the precise detail work that a larger blade simply can't reach. PEtec sharpening grinds the edge to a precise 14° on each side for a finer, longer-lasting edge. The smoked oak handle brings warmth and character to the bench - the same X50CrMoV15 steel and German precision as the Classic, with a handle that makes it unmistakably its own. Forged from a single piece of steel in Solingen, Germany.
Care & Maintenance
- Hand wash only - the smoked oak handle is not dishwasher safe
- Dry immediately after washing - do not soak or leave the handle wet
- Hone regularly with a honing steel to maintain the 14° edge
- Sharpen with a whetstone or professional sharpening service when needed
- Occasionally treat the oak handle with a food-safe wood oil to keep it conditioned
- Store on a magnetic strip or in a knife block to protect the edge
