Born in Takefu in 1948, Mr. Saji comes from a family of second-generation smiths. In 1992, he achieved significant recognition when he was officially certified as a “Traditional Master Craftsman" by the Japanese “Ministry of International Trade & Industry."

His knife blades are renowned for combining traditional hammer-forging techniques with his unique ideas and designs. This meticulous process results in a beautiful, powerful appearance alongside a remarkably sharp cutting edge with superior hardness.
