Two Centuries of German Precision
Wüsthof has been forging knives in Solingen - the knife-making capital of Germany - since 1814. The Classic Cook's Knife is the cornerstone of that legacy. Forged from a single piece of X50CrMoV15 high-alloy steel, the blade, bolster, and tang are one continuous piece for exceptional balance and durability. PEtec sharpening uses a laser-controlled process to grind the edge to a precise 14° on each side - sharper out of the box and longer-lasting than conventionally sharpened knives. The wide, curved blade handles slicing, dicing, chopping, and mincing across every ingredient with equal authority. The full-tang, triple-riveted synthetic handle is comfortable, durable, and won't harbour bacteria.

- Dry immediately after washing
