Henckels. Two Centuries of Solingen Steel.
J. A. Henckels has been forging knives in Solingen since 1731 - one of the oldest and most respected names in professional cutlery. The Twinworks line represents the working end of that heritage: fully forged, full tang, built to last a lifetime of daily use. At 265mm, this chef's knife has the reach for large prep work while remaining nimble enough for detail cuts. The carbon steel blade sharpens to a finer, keener edge than stainless and develops a natural patina with use. One-of-a-kind and not available anywhere else.
Care & Maintenance
- Hand wash only - never dishwasher
- Dry immediately after washing to prevent rust
- Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil to the blade if storing long-term
- Hone regularly with a honing steel; sharpen with a whetstone as needed
- A natural patina will develop with use - this is normal and desirable
