The three knives cover the essential cuts you'll make every time you cook. The 8-slot Kanso block holds up to 8 pieces of cutlery including a honing steel and shears, leaving plenty of room to add more Shun Classic knives as your collection grows. The VG-MAX steel core is clad in 64 layers of Damascus stainless steel, bead-blasted to reveal the flowing wave-like pattern that defines the Shun Classic line. The ebony PakkaWood® D-shaped handles are durable, beautiful, and won't harbour bacteria.
Care & Maintenance
- Hand wash knives only, never dishwasher
- Dry immediately after washing
- Hone regularly with a Shun honing steel to maintain the 16° edge
- Sharpen with a whetstone or professional sharpening service when needed
- Wipe block with a dry cloth - do not submerge in water
