The Kitchen Knives ID Difference
Kitchen Knives ID uses traditional Japanese knife-making techniques from their workshop in Magetan, East Java - a region with a long tradition of blade-making. Founded by Omar, the workshop brings together local blacksmiths and craftsmen to produce knives that deliver exceptional craftsmanship at an accessible price point. The nashiji (pear-skin) finish gives the blade a textured, matte appearance that reduces food sticking and hides minor scratches. At 150mm, this Nakiri is the classic home-kitchen format - flat-edged for full board contact on every stroke, ideal for vegetables and fine prep work. The Jatiwood (teak) octagonal handle is dense, water-resistant, and comfortable for extended use.

- Hand wash only - never dishwasher
- Dry immediately after washing
- Apply a light coat of food-safe oil to the carbon steel blade to prevent rust
