The Camellia Oil

Camellia oil has been used in Japan for centuries to protect carbon steel blades from rust and corrosion. A thin coat applied to the blade after washing and drying creates a barrier against moisture - essential for high-carbon steels like Aogami, Shirogami, and kurouchi-finished knives that will oxidise quickly if left unprotected. The squeeze spout applicator makes application simple: a few drops on the blade or a soft cloth, wiped evenly across the surface, is all it takes. Odourless and food-safe, it will not affect the flavour of food when the knife is next used.
