Serrated Where It Counts
Tomatoes, avocados, sausages with tough casings, hard cheeses - these are the foods that expose the limits of a straight-edge utility knife. The serrated edge bites through the skin cleanly, then glides through the soft interior without tearing or compressing. In size it sits between a chef's knife and a paring knife, with a narrower, straighter blade that's equally at home in hand or on the board. The VG-MAX steel core is clad in 68 layers of Damascus stainless steel, bead-blasted to reveal its flowing wave-like pattern, with an ebony PakkaWood® D-shaped handle for a secure, comfortable grip.
Care & Maintenance
- Hand wash only, never dishwasher
- Dry immediately after washing
- Serrated blades require less frequent sharpening - have professionally sharpened when needed
- Do not hone - serrated edges are maintained differently to straight-edge blades
- Store on a magnetic strip or in a knife block to protect the serrations
